Viral Dubai Chocolate

We’re sharing our very own recipe, using affordable ingredients that you can easily find on our website and in your local supermarket. Get ready to indulge in pure chocolate bliss!
Ingredients
For the pistachio cream
- 150g shelled pistachios (unsalted)
- 120ml sweetened condensed milk
- 60ml double cream
- 1 tbsp honey
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
For the knafeh layer
- 100g knafeh pastry (shredded filo dough)
- 30g unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- ½ tsp orange blossom water (optional)
For the chocolate shell
- 300g dark or milk chocolate (melted)
- 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for a smoother shell)
- 2 tbsp crushed pistachios (for garnish)
Method
Step 1: make the pistachio cream
- Blend the pistachios in a food processor until finely ground.
- Add the condensed milk, double cream, honey, and vanilla. Blend until smooth.
- Transfer to a bowl and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: prepare the knafeh layer
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan) / Gas Mark 4.
- Toss the knafeh pastry with melted butter, sugar, and orange blossom water until evenly coated.
- Spread on a baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool.
Step 3: assemble the bars
- Melt the chocolate with coconut oil in a microwave or over a double boiler.
- Line chocolate bar moulds with a thin layer of melted chocolate. Chill for 5 minutes.
- Add a layer of crunchy knafeh, then spoon in the pistachio cream.
- Cover with more melted chocolate to seal. Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until set.

- Enjoy! Once set, remove from the mould, take a bite, and enjoy this viral chocolate sensation!
