Covid-19, a statement from Cake Cabinet
We realise many people are concerned over Covid-19 developing in so many countries. We want to let you know that we are committed to adhering to the strictest protocols by the World Health Organisation, the UK government as well as local authorities.
As you probably already know, this advice is not always transparent and can appear contradictory on occasions. We are therefore erring on the side of caution.
All Cake Cabinet staff are fully aware of the current requirements and have been practising extremely high levels of health and safety procedures over the past few weeks, to ensure the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained. The warehouse is a highly maintained hygienic environment; we have instructed all warehouse team members to wash their hands and use sanitiser.
This has not happened yet, but we cannot stress enough, should any member of the Cake Cabinet team return from an affected area abroad (or their family member) they will automatically have to self-isolate for 14 days.
All our delivery partners have put similar measures into place so that all vehicles and equipment are cleaned regularly. We advise all customers to wash their hands thoroughly after accepting and unpacking any deliveries (whether it is from CC or anyone else), which is in line with the current advice from the government.
Please be aware of possible delays to deliveries in some countries where additional restrictions on travel and shipments may be in force.
There are no delays in shipping orders or deliveries going out.
We will keep you updated on any changes.
